Q: How can I be sure that my valuables are not lost or stolen while travelling?

You can never be 100% sure, so the best thing to do is to avoid bringing your valuables with you. Leave them at home and bring costume jewellery or a cheap suit instead. If you can’t avoid bringing certain expensive possessions, it’s a good idea to consider getting yourself some insurance. While baggage insurance may seem like the way to go, many expensive items, such as mp3 players, computers, cell phones, jewellery, and cameras, are automatically excluded from coverage.
